Discuss the elements of a short story. Read a short story and answer questions. Questions will be due by the end of the hour on Wednesday.

Go to the library to check out the novel, Alas Babylon. Students will write a short essay on what they did over the summer.

Students are expected to bring materials to class and be prepared for work. The grading scale will be demonstrated throughout the week.

Discuss the theme, Transformational Thinking. Hand out writing assignment. Rough draft will be due on Tuesday. |
